Description of Work Done: Northern Exposure took an old 16mm file we had and converted it to a DVD movie. They added still photos at the front and rear of the movie, and (per their excellent suggestion) overlayed music to the entire thing. They effectively created a "movie-ography" for me, and it is great! |

Testimonial: I first heard of Northern Exposure from an interet classified ad service, and I am happy that I saw the ad. My dad was a pilot in the Royal Canadian Air Force, and on a test run in the 1970's, the weapons on his aircraft malfunctioned and he was forced to eject. This was captured on 16mm film by a spotter plane. Darryl took the old film, converted it to DVD, added music and a "biography" of still pictures at the front and back end of the video. The end result was fabulous and made a sentimental Xmas present to my dad. The quality of the work, the service associated with it, and the price were all excellent. I would highly recommend Northern Exposure to others, and in fact, I plan on working with Darryl to make additions to the original video! |

For the first job, they were given a box full of video tapes to go through and although I gave them lists of the exact spots I wanted captured, there was a huge amount of work done by Barry and Darryl for a very reasonable amount of money in a very short timeframe.
The Memorial tribute was 7 emailed, poor photographs, a broken VHS tape and another old, poor quality VHS tape. The Memorial was absolutely breathtakingly beautiful and had 150 people melted into tears.
I hope they are content with me being a "forever" customer and I highly recommend their business to anyone who would like to preserve their memories in a very quality product. |

Testimonial: As time marches on we begin to realize the sentiment and value of memories from years past. Our 8mm films had been through numerous moves and were still in the origional 1978 shoe box! During the last move my mother finally said "I'm not storing these any more - you kids decide what to do with them!"
